How to Emulate Another User in eAdm

As an administrator, you can emulate other users within eAdm. This feature is designed to help you troubleshoot problems, test configurations, and understand the system from a specific user's perspective.

When you emulate a user, you can view the eAdm interface and perform tasks with the exact same permissions as that user.

Procedure

Follow these steps to start an emulation session:

  1. Search for the user you want to emulate.

  2. In the user's profile, click the Emulate button.

  3. The system will now display eAdm exactly as the selected user sees it. You can navigate and operate within the system based on their assigned rights.

  4. To end the session, simply log out. This will return you to your own administrator account.

Note: The user emulation feature is only available for administrators.

Warning: Any actions you perform while emulating a user are logged as if the user performed them. Use this feature carefully, especially when making changes to data or permissions.
