How to Override User Data in eADM
In eADM, administrators can manually override individual attributes for a user. This function is useful for making specific corrections that should not be sourced from the primary data system (HRM).
The user interface clearly indicates which values are overridden, including when the change was made and by whom. Any override can also be easily reverted.
Warning: Use this feature with caution. An override remains active until it is manually removed. While an attribute is overridden, it will no longer receive automatic updates from the integrated HRM system.
How to Override a User Attribute
Follow these steps to apply an override to a user's attribute.
Search for and select the user you wish to modify.
Navigate to the Source Data tab.
Locate the attribute you want to change and click the pencil icon in its row to edit the value.
Enter the new value and save the change.
How to Identify and Restore an Overridden Attribute
Follow these steps to find overridden data and revert it to the source system's value.
Navigate to the user's Source Data tab.
Identify overridden data by looking for the checkmark icon in the Overridden Value column.
To revert the change and restore the original value from the HRM system, click the
Restore Value icon (which resembles an undo button) in that row.
