Password Management with the Password Portal

This guide explains how to use and access the self-service password portal.


Overview

Our password portal allows users to manage their own passwords without administrator assistance. Users can perform two main actions:

  • Create their initial password for a new account.

  • Reset a forgotten password.

Users verify their identity through one of two methods:

  • By logging in with ID-porten.

  • By receiving a new password via SMS to their mobile number registered in the system.

Note: If the password portal has not been configured for your organization, please contact our support team.


Accessing the Portal

To simplify the login process for your users, we recommend using a direct link that includes your unique organization number. This removes the need for users to manually select their organization from a list.

The URL structure for the direct link is: https://mega.eadm.no/#/pw/[Your OrganizationNumber]

For example, the link for Askøy municipality is: https://mega.eadm.no/#/pw/NO964338442

How to Find Your Organization Number

You can find the correct organization number for your instance by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your instance.

  2. Navigate to the System tab.

  3. Locate the organization number listed under the "Organization" section.
