Slik utløser du en eAdm manuelt

If you need to update eAdm with fresh data from your HR system outside of the regularly scheduled synchronization times, you can trigger the process manually. This is done using the Windows Task Scheduler on the server where the eAdm on-premise client is installed.

Fremgangsmåte

Follow these steps to safely run a manual synchronization.

1. Check the Current Synchronization Status

Before starting a new sync, you must verify that no other sync is currently running.

  1. In the eAdm web portal, navigate to Synchronization > Synchronization Status.

  2. Confirm that the last synchronization cycle is marked as "Completed" and that all steps have a green checkmark.

Warning: If a synchronization is already in progress or has failed, do not start a new one. The status must show "Completed" before you proceed. If you are unsure, please contact Identum support for assistance.

2. Run the Synchronization Task

  1. Log into the server where the eAdm on-premise client is installed.

  2. Open Task Scheduler.

  3. In the Task Scheduler Library, find and select the task named eAdm synkronisering.

  4. Right-click the task and select Run.

  5. Wait for the task to finish. You may need to click the Refresh button in the Task Scheduler's Actions pane to see the updated status. The "Status" column will show "Ready" when it is complete.

3. Clear Your Cache

After the server task is complete, you must clear your local cache in the eAdm web interface to see the newly imported data.

  1. Click on your user profile icon in the top-right corner of the eAdm portal.

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

  3. Click the Clear Cache button.

The manual synchronization is now finished. eAdm, Active Directory, and other connected systems are updated with the latest data from your HR system.
