This document provides a high-level overview of the Identum eAdm application, its core purpose, and its function as an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solution.

What is eADM?

eAdm is a web application that automates identity and access management. The system works by connecting with an organization's primary data sources, such as HR or payroll systems. It processes this identity data and then automatically provisions, updates, and de-provisions user accounts and access rights in various connected systems.

This ensures that user access is always synchronized with the central source of truth, such as an employee's current status and role in the HR system.

Data Flow Overview

The eAdm data flow model consists of three main parts: Data Sources, the Core System, and Provisioning Targets.

Data Sources (Inputs)

eAdm integrates with the authoritative systems where user identity data originates. This typically includes:

• HR and Payroll Systems, such as:

  • Visma HRM Enterprise

  • Agresso Lønn og personal

  • Huldt & Lillevik Lønn

  • Bluegarden

• On-Premises Active Directory

Core System (Processing)

• Identum eAdm sits at the center of the data flow, applying configuration rules and logic to process the identity data it receives from the sources.

Provisioning Targets (Outputs)

Based on the configured rules, eAdm exports the processed data to create and manage user accounts in various cloud and on-premises systems:

• Cloud Services:

  • Google Workspace

  • Microsoft 365

  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

• Specialized Systems (Line-of-Business Applications)

Note: The features and information you can see in eAdm depend on two factors: your assigned user permissions and the specific modules your organization has licensed. Therefore, not all sections of this documentation may be relevant to you.

Note: eAdm is continuously updated with new features and improvements. As a result, some screenshots in this documentation may differ slightly from the current application interface.

If you require assistance or encounter a problem, please contact your organization's local IT support team first. They will perform initial troubleshooting and can escalate the issue to Identum's technical support staff if necessary.
